Founded by longtime friends Prime Catering of KC founders Sal Cannova and Guy Tamburello, Prime Catering of KC was created with a shared passion for exceptional food, hospitality, and memorable events. Sal Cannova serves as the culinary expert at Prime Catering of Kansas City and brings more than 35 years of experience in the foodservice and hospitality industry. A former Executive Chef and owner of Roasters of Kansas City, Sal has spent much of his career in the catering industry, collaborating with renowned chefs across the country and contributing to numerous high-profile and large-scale events. Recognized for his culinary expertise, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail, Sal’s passion for menu development and guest experience ensures every event is executed at the highest level.

Guy Tamburello is a partner and chef at Prime Catering of Kansas City with more than 45 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Throughout his distinguished career, Guy has owned and operated several well-known Kansas City establishments, including Marty’s BBQ, Café Italia, and Granny’s Chicken. Widely respected for his Southern Italian culinary influence, Chef Guy is known for creating rich, flavorful, scratch-made dishes that leave a lasting impression. His signature sauces and ability to craft customized menus for any occasion bring a unique level of authenticity, sophistication, and excitement to every event
